Pixel 2 Portrait Mode

Hey, Friends!

I hope everyone is staying as warm as possible during this brutally cold winter we’re having. I wanted to drop in to give you a quick status update on the current state of the site and our plans as we move forward into this new year.

Yes, I know – it’s already February, and I kinda slacked off a bit in January. Have no fear, though! I’m still alive and kicking. I’ve been focusing on photography pretty heavily the past few weeks, but that doesn’t mean my work here is done.

As a small site, there will be times where I go inactive for small periods of time like this, but I’m always thinking of the next tutorial I can write, and I’m still getting new stuff sent in for the review desk.

So, even though the posts may be a bit less frequent than those from bigger sites, I hope you’ll enjoy the unique content and views I bring to the table.

A possible switch to broader spectrums?

I’ve been kicking around the idea of changing the site’s focus from Android to all things technology related. Don’t get me wrong – I love Android, and I always will, but opening things up a bit gives me the opportunity to write about other topics I enjoy, too.

At any rate, I’d love to hear your thoughts on a rebranding in the comment thread. I’m also open to name suggestions for the new site, should I end up going that route.

Whaddaya think?

New Authors wanted!

Are you interested in writing for the site? I’d love to add a few new active authors to the team to help out! Head on over to the ‘Join Our Team‘ page for more info.

As always, thank you to each and every one of you reading this for visiting the site and for your continued support.

It really does mean the world to me!

  1. Welcome back…and a belated Happy New Year then 😛
Joke aside, your idea of a “EveryTechUnfiltered” site sounds interesting, although I think you should find some ‘niches’ or you’ll fall into the general-purpose kind of tech sites (which are rarely interesting) . IoT and smart devices (health, home…) is maybe a subject. Security is another one (obviously not OS-related)… Just my 2 cents 😉
