Oopsie! We’re a bit late on this one, and for that, I apologize.  It’s been a busy couple of weeks here, and it honestly slipped my mind until just now. Better late than never, right? The good news is, the October free PlayStation Plus games are friggin exceptional!

For PlayStation 4

First up is Metal Girl Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. MGS5:TPP is the final Hideo Kojima title from his days at Konami before he branched off and Kojima Productions was born. Gamespot gave the game a perfect 10 rating and I’d have to say I agree with that; especially when you’re playing for free. It may even be one of the best titles ever released for the PlayStation 4.

Next on the list is Amnesia: Collection. This lumps together all three titles in Frictional Games’ horror franchise: 2010’s Amnesia: The Dark Descent and its 2011 expansion, Amnesia: Justine, as well as the game’s 2013 sequel, Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs. The package launched on PlayStation 4 last November as the series’ console debut.

Everything else

  • Monster Jam Battlegrounds, PS3
  • Hustle Kings, PS3
  • Hue, PlayStation Vita (Cross-buy with PS4)
  • Sky Force Anniversary, PS Vita (Cross-buy with PS4, PS3)

That’s You

It’s also worth noting that That’s You – the first game to make use of Sony’s new PlayLink feature is available for free for PS Plus subscribers from now until October 24th. A trailer for That’s You is above, and a video explaining PlayLink is below.

The October free PlayStation Plus games are available until November 2nd.

Happy gaming!
