The Netflix beta program for Android is open for users looking to test early releases of the app before they go live to the public. This is the second time we’ve seen the streaming service open such a program.

You may remember a similar program opening up for a very brief period last year, but Netflix shut it down shortly after it went live, assumingly because it wasn’t ready yet.

That’s not the case now, as the beta program is open once again.

If you want in on the action, all you have to do is head over to this link, and opt-in to become a tester – everyone is eligible to test. After doing so, you’ll see “(Beta)” next to the app’s name in the Play Store.

There doesn’t appear to be a beta release at the moment, however. I checked on my Pixel 2 and didn’t see anything in the updates section on Google Play.

There’s no word on what to expect in future beta releases, but if you’re a tester, you’ll have access to new features before most everyone else.

Of course, that means you’ll also have access to application builds susceptible to having bugs and other kinks that need ironing out.
