myWear File Explorer

Android Wear hasn’t seen much official love lately, but there are still a few budding developers working on software for the wearable platform. myWear File Explorer, from Marcelo R. dos Santos, is an interesting new file manager app for smartwatches, and it’s out now on Google Play.

myWear File Explorer features

  • Create, view and edit text files (.txt).
  • Open files in PDF format as text or as an image.
  • Open image files (.png, .jpg, .gif and .bmp).
  • Create, rename, copy, move and delete folders.
  • Display thumbnails of images.
  • Multiple selection of files and folders.

myWear File Explorer is available for watches running Android Wear 1.0 and 2.0, although the earlier version does bring a virtual keyboard along with it. The app is available for free without any ads or in-app purchases, which is always a plus.

Check it out with the Play Store widget below.
