Google is expected to announce several new products on October 4, 2017, including the rumored Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL. I’ve collected a bunch of info from various sources and put together a roundup of rumors of what many believe the Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL will be.

The Pixel 2 is rumored to be manufactured by HTC, while the Pixel 2 XL will be by LG. The former is said to maintain much of the same design as the original Google Pixel, while the latter will have a curved QHD display, 18:9 aspect ratio, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 64GB or 128GB of storage, USB-C port, E-SIM slot, a second-generation Google-branded fingerprint sensor, and a 3,520mAh battery.

The smaller version should have a full HD display, 2,700mAh battery, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 64GB or 128GB storage options, and an E-SIM slot.

Both variants are said to not come with headphone jacks, which I can see stirring up a lot of conversation.

Three colors may be all that is offered, including “just black,” “clearly white,” and “kinda blue.”

Sources are claiming the smaller of the two, being HTC made, will include the HTC U11’s squeeze functionality. Squish your phone, and it will react by opening the camera, opening your favorite app, etc. This could be useful? No one seems sure if the Google Pixel 2 XL will see this as well since it’ll supposedly be LG-made.

Prices have also been rumored. At this time, it’s expected the Google Pixel 2 will run at $649 USD for the 64GB model and $749 USD for 128GB.

The Google Pixel 2 XL may be $849 for 64GB and $949 for 128GB.
