‘Back-to-School’ season is in full swing now, and Google is offering some pretty deep discounts on the Play Store to celebrate. If you were holding out on buying a one of the hottest Android phones available, now might be a good time to reconsider. Via this deal, you can save $200 on the Pixel XL and $125 on the Pixel, taking them down to $569 and $524, respectively. To sweeten things even more, you’ll receive a free Daydream View VR headset with the purchase of either handset, as well.
Both products (Daydream View and Pixel or Pixel XL) must be added to your shopping cart to receive the bonus offer. Customers who return or cancel their order of Pixel/Pixel XL must also return the Daydream View device to receive a full refund.
Save $20 on Google Home during the Play Store ‘Back-to-School” sale
Also on sale is the Google Home smart speaker, which you can get for $109, down from $129. We’ve seen better savings before, like Black Friday 2016, when the Home was on sale for $99, but this is still a decent deal. If you’re looking to get into the smart home game, or perhaps you want to add another Home to your network, this might be something you’ll want to look at.
On a side note, there’s a new Preview Program coming soon for Google Home. If you snag one during this deal, make sure to sign up for that. This will let you try new software on your device before it goes live to the public. It’s not live yet, but it should be in the near future. We’ll be sure to update you when it is.
Rounding out the sale, if you buy a Google Wifi 3-pack, you’ll also receive a free Chromecast Audio. After a qualifying purchase of a Google Wifi 3-pack, a promo code will be emailed within approximately four weeks from the Wifi 3-pack shipment date. Of course, if you don’t live in a large home, you likely have no need for three WiFi points, but if you do, at least you’ll get a freebie on top of your purchase.
You can check the full list of offerings over on Google Play. Be sure to stop back and let us know if you pick anything up!
Happy shopping, y’all!
