Movies Anywhere is a new service that brings your entire digital video library across a number of services to one convenient location. The app launched earlier this month, and, currently works with Google Play Movies, Amazon, Vudu, and iTunes. And for a limited time, you can get 5 free movies just for signing up and linking two or more of your digital retailer accounts. No strings attached; no credit card needed.
To redeem this offer, you’ll need to install the Movies Anywhere app – I linked it at the bottom of this post – and you’ll need accounts with at least two of the services previously mentioned. It doesn’t matter which two you use, as long as you use at least two. It makes sense because after all, the entire purpose of the app is to combine your libraries from each of these providers.
After installing the app, you get a prompt to sign in. You get two of the five free movies for linking your first account, and the other three after linking your second account. The free titles you get are Big Hero 6, Jason Bourne, The Lego Movie, Ghostbusters (the 2016 version), Ice Age, and Gravity. It’s an interesting mix of overall good movies, especially if you have kids. Moreover, they don’t cost you a dime, so there’s no room for complaint.
And, if you haven’t already seen Gravity, you’re really missing out!
Happy movie night, friends!
