Call of Duty: WWII

Another year, another CoD game it seems, as Call of Duty WWII is set to launch, come November 3rd. You won’t have to wait quite that long to give it a test drive, however, as a private multiplayer beta is coming in about 10 days.

It kicks off on August 25th and runs through August 28th, for players who pre-order the game. Beta participants will experience the all-new War Mode where players must work as a team to defeat the enemy.

Have a look at the trailer for the multiplayer beta below.

This private beta is exclusive to PlayStation 4 owners, although there’s still good news for Xbox One fans. A second private beta will launch on September 1st and run through September 4th, and this one is available to both PS4 and XB1 owners who pre-ordered.

If you’ve already got a code, you can enter it over on the private beta signup page.

Call of Duty WWII is a return to the series’ roots and offers a breathtaking experience that redefines World War II for a new gaming generation. That said, I haven’t touched a COD game in years. The last one I played was Modern Warfare, and the players I came across during my stint turned me away from the series for good.

I know there’s a lot of folks reading this who still like the Call of Duty series, so I wanted to give you a heads up – just in case you’re in that crowd.

And while I have your attention and we’re talking about PlayStation 4 stuff, now is as good a time as ever to point you towards my PSN profile, you know – should you wanna ever get your ass kicked in a game of Madden, or Friday the 13th.

Readers… Any COD players in the crowd? Are you pre-ordering Call of Duty WWII? Hit the comment thread and do what you do!
